And while the primary focus of Luke’s research is on determining which forage soybean varieties work best as a buffer to minimize deer damage to production soybeans, much of what he’s learned is applicable to us deer hunters and food plotters as well. Luke discusses his background, his soybean research, what he’s learned about some of the different varieties he’s testing, as well as how many days after a rain event you can expect to see the most deer activity in your bean plot!
